Hong Kong is also about the people who live there. It is a very cosmopolitan large city, with inhabitants from all around the world, quite different from Vietnamese or Chinese cities.
There are indeed a lot of people. It often feels crowded, and in this way Hong Kong is part of China !
There are neighbourhoods which really feel part of a large European city, like these streets with bars, restaurants, and live music clubs.
There are also people with a style, a thing one seldom sees in Viet Nam or China !
Hong Kong people like their shopping. Showing one has wealth is important.
The day we arrived was sunday, when the Philippino domestic workers have a day off.
There even was a miss Philippino in Hong Kong election !
People in Hong Kong come from all countries but one's job depend on one's country.
Taking pictures is important in Hong Kong !
Especially for weddings...
So many it looks like a traffic jam !
There are also neighbourhoods that feel much more like Asia, like this market in North Point...
or this one in Kowloon...
With the old merchants...
Hong Kong is an active town, but people also know how to rest !
as a couple...
or as a family...
or as a school class !
Physical activities are not forgotten !
Or work. With bamboo scaffolding.
Hong Kong is quite a nice city... our favourite large city !
